The American Jewelry Institute is a premier provider of independent appraisals for fine jewelry, gems and timepieces. We conduct appraisals at our office or in many cases at a location of your choosing (bank, home, or office). The following appraisal services are for the general public. Do I Need An Appraisal ?

Appraisals are performed for a variety of reasons but they all serve to protect and educate you, the client. If you posses valuable jewelry that is undocumented you may be at risk. Insurers and estate planners require processional documentation in order to protect your assets appropriately. It is key to keep on top of your documents and have a qualified independent appraiser evaluate your jewelry and gems periodically. At the American Jewelry Institute we welcome all questions that you might have concerning our service.
