Richard Malerba, G.G., NJA

Richard has been a professional jeweler for over seventeen years. He is a master jeweler and gemologist specializing in custom design work and jewelry restoration and appraisal work. He has owned and operated jewelry businesses in both the retail and manufacturing sectors.

Richard has been developing and teaching courses in the jewelry arts for ten years. Included in his work is a seventeen chapter correspondence course on jewelry repair and design. This course is available through The Professional Career Development Institute.

Academic credentials include a BA from Wagner College ,cum laude, and a Graduate Gemologist Diploma from GIA, He has also received several other certificates from the Gemological Institute of America and Jewelers of America.
